How a Navratnazz estimate is built, what is locked when, and how handmade weight variation is billed.

How we price
Every Navratnazz piece is made to order. Your price is built from four visible parts: metal weight at the day's workshop rate, stone value, making charge, and applicable GST. We show each part before you commit, so nothing sits hidden inside a single per-piece figure.
Metal rate
Gold is offered in 14K, 18K and 20K; silver in 74% traditional alloy and 92.5% sterling. The per-gram rate published in your estimate is the rate applicable on the day the estimate is issued. Metal rates move daily; an estimate is valid for 48 hours unless we state otherwise in writing.
Stone value
Stones are quoted separately because uncut polki, natural diamonds, lab grown stones and imitation stones vary widely by size, cut, colour and availability. Stone value in an estimate is indicative until the exact parcel is selected for your piece and confirmed with you.
Making charge
Making charge is shown as a percentage of metal value and covers framing, kundan setting, meena work, polish and finishing. Wastage, if applicable to a design, is stated in the estimate and never added later.
Handmade weight variation
Jadau is set by hand, so the finished weight can differ from the estimated weight. The per-gram rate you approved does not change — only the actual grams. Final billing is on actual finished weight, shown on your weight slip. Variation is typically within 5%, and we inform you before completion if it will be more.
Rate lock and advance
The metal rate is locked when your 80% advance is received against a confirmed design. Until then the estimate is indicative. If you postpone confirmation, we re-quote at the rate applicable on the new confirmation date.
Taxes, certification and logistics
GST is charged at the applicable statutory rate. BIS hallmarking, 925 stamping and independent stone certification are included as stated in your estimate. Insured logistics within India is included on orders above the threshold stated in your estimate; otherwise it is billed at actual.
